  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place pie crust into a pie dish and set aside.

  • In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until just pink, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.

  • In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Spread half the cheese in the pie crust, add shrimp, then pour the cream mixture over the top.

  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and set.

 

  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.


Notes

Swap cheddar with mozzarella or Monterey Jack for a milder flavor

Add sautéed onions or bell peppers for extra depth

Use fresh local shrimp for the best flavor
